Our Story

Inis Trading Co. is owned by Allison Taylor and sits in the Fernhill Centre on Mayne Island. In December 2020, Mayne Island TV's Shop Mayne First series featured Allison in her then-new store, introducing islanders to its mix of handcrafted and fair trade goods.

The idea behind Inis is to carry things that are made well and made fairly. The shop describes its stock as fair trade, locally sourced, sustainable, slow fashion from Canadian and international designers, and it pairs clothing with fair trade home goods and small-batch products from local makers.
